2025 CYCLING ROUTE
This year we are dealing with 99 km, as well as a 79 km
- Start at Casa Mia Country Estate onto R513 towards Cullinan.
- No Trucks or Busses are allowed on this section of the road.
- After 6 km you will encounter a clime. At Cullinan, you turn right
- towards Rayton and at the well-known Jan Ellis Auction the 79 km turn
- left and the 99 km go straight over the N4 and turn left towards
- Bronkhorstspruit cycling through farms. Then you turn
- left on the R513/R568 straight over 4 way stop street. This is where the short distance join up with the long distance.
- Now after plus/minus 10 km you turn left to Cullinan.
- In Cullinan, you turn left at the four-way and then right at the church.
- Now you cycle back to Casa Mia Country estate and this is downhill to the finish

WHAT EXACTLY IS A BLUE DIAMOND?
Blue Diamond is a type of diamond which exhibits all of the same inherent properties of the mineral except with the additional element of blue colour in the stone. They are coloured blue by trace amounts of boron that contaminate the crystalline lattice structure The step-cut gem, recovered from Cullinan mine in South Africa in April last year, is the largest vivid blue diamond ever to appear at an auction.
